What is a Sprint Meet?
Sprints meets give you the opportunity to drive
your road car on the track!
When you are on track it is like a qualifying session, you are
trying to set your best time. The winner of a sprint meet is
the person with the best lap time. You will be on track with a
group of other cars with similar lap times, there is no forced
passing and no door to door racing.
Do I need a Race Suit?
For a Sprint Meet you will need to wear long sleeves and long
trousers of a non flammable material e.g.Cotton, no Polyester
or Nylon. You will also need to wear closed shoes and an
Australian Standards Helmet. Helmets can be rented from
Queensland Raceway and Lakeside Park for $5.00.
Licensing
You will need a AASA Clubman Licence which are issued by
Queensland Raceways.
You can purchase a one year Clubman License for $55.00
(valid for one year from the date of purchase) or a $20.00 day
license. This license will allow you to compete at any sprint
meet at Queensland Raceway Willowbank or Lakeside Park

for fast processing we recommend you fill out a AASA
